Laura Sagolla earned her PhD in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2000. Following law school, Laura served as a clerk for Judge D. Lowell Jensen of the United States District Court, Northern District of California. Laura then worked in the appellate practice group of a large Michigan firm.

Laura is in the firm's Ann Arbor office, where she represents Tribal clients on a variety of issues, including treaty rights and Tribal-state negotiations and state constitutional matters.
